About Player 1
Player 1's AI-Centered, Mentoring, Education, Virtual Reality, and Community Academy is a registered not-for-profit 501(c)(3) initiative that combines innovative educational strategies to foster comprehensive development in children of all genders. Our academy integrates student, parent, and community mentoring with real-world educational training, virtual and augmented reality, and a dedicated AI curriculum to create an engaging learning environment. This environment significantly enhances a child's social and emotional development while heightening their critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills.
As a STEAM-centered facility, we emphasize the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics in our programming. We are committed to teaching youth about AI through our extensive AI curriculum, ensuring they are well-prepared for the future. Our approach not only supports academic excellence but also inspires active community participation, equipping our students with the skills to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the world.
Player 1's Mandatory Certification Classes

Schools teach knowledge, but life demands wisdom. Instead of learning critical life skills on how to manage money, how to negotiate, or how to communicate, kids are regularly taught to memorize information. At no fault of their own, schools are not set up to teach us what matters most. Player 1’s Video Gaming, Mentoring, Educational, Sports and Community Initiative teaches each child the real-world life skills that will equip them with the tools to become successful in the real world.
Player 1's Video Gaming, Mentoring, Educational, Sports, and Community Initiative has 100 mandatory certification courses and 10 electives embedded into the experience. This is a level and point-based program, therefore students will be eager to complete each course to earn points and advance to the next level. Our real-world training curriculum will ensure that each child will become productive citizens who will make a enduring impact on their communities.

Mentor 360
A huge part of Player 1's Video Gaming, Mentoring, Educational, Sports, and Community Initiative is our 360 ÌŠ mentoring model. This is a game-changer. We not only mentor the youth during this experience but we also work closely with their parents as well. Player 1 creates and sustains positive communication with the parents to help them identify their specific needs. We clearly understand that in order for our children to succeed, their parents or guardians must succeed as well. That's why we partner with each students parent/guardian to identify the needs of the household as a whole. From there, our team locates all of the available resources and provides any necessary training to the parent or guardian to make sure each home becomes a productive, positive and safe environment.

During our Mentor 360 Education Enhancement Experience,
each child's attendance, grades, and test scores are monitored weekly, which allows us to be proactive in making sure our students succeed. When a student's grades or attendance is declining, The Player 1 team steps in and instantly develops a plan of action which includes meeting with the parents to help both parties identify any problems at home that may be hindering the child's progress. From there we begin to put in place facility and home tutoring, daily wake-up calls, in-school monitoring, and other tools that are necessary to guarantee our students success. Students also earn points by taking part in our Educational Enhancement Experience as well.

Students routinely complain of not having access to dependable and helpful mentorship when they need it most. Early in the morning, late at night, in between classes and immediately following some adversity. Player 1 answers the call by creating a secure online platform that participants can access and engage mentorship 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Strategic Engagement Team
We Are 1
Player 1's, Mentor 360 twenty-four-hour support system also consists of physical mentors that are strategically integrated into the everyday lives of our students to hold them accountable. Our strategic engagement team (We Are 1) visits homes, schools and community locations to hold members accountable to program principals. School administrators, teachers, parents, and peers are urged to send both positive and negative updates to the engagement team whenever necessary. The strategic engagement teams are also instrumental in relieving conflicts between teens in the community before they escalate.

A "Trauma-Sensitive" Academy
Player 1 Academy, Inc. understands the educational impacts of trauma, which is why we create safe, supportive environments where students make the positive connections with adults and peers they might otherwise push away, calm their emotions so they can focus and behave appropriately, and feel confident enough to advance their learning.
