As Black History faces increasing challenges in public schools nationwide, we are proud to announce the expansion of Player 1 Academies across the country. These academies are dedicated exclusively to the study of Black History, immersing our students deeply in the rich tapestry of Black Culture. Player 1 Academy provides an innovative and immersive approach to Black History education, offering classes and experiences seven days a week, 365 days a year. Our mission is to revive Black History, ensuring that our youth gain a profound understanding of their heritage and origins. We are committed to continually highlighting the profound impact of Black individuals on global history and society.

We provide a safe and welcoming space where black students can fully embrace and celebrate their identity and heritage. We believe that by educating our youth on the rich history and contributions of black people, we can empower them to be leaders and change-makers in their communities.

Through interactive and dynamic lessons, our students learn about the unsung heroes of black History, from inventors and entrepreneurs to activists and artists. Our curriculum goes beyond the typical textbooks and covers topics like African civilizations, the transatlantic slave trade, the civil rights movement, and the contributions of black Americans in various fields.

In addition, we place a strong emphasis on the exploration of Black culture, encompassing areas such as music, literature, cuisine, and fashion. Through this comprehensive exploration of diverse Black experiences, our students not only cultivate a profound appreciation for their own identities but also develop a greater understanding of the rich tapestry of the global community.
