Education

Year -Round

Just as fast as they are banning Black History in public schools across the country, we're opening up Player 1 Academys' across the country - that ONLY teach black History.  We totally submerge our students in Black Culture.  The Player 1 Academy delivers true black History in a revolutionary and engaging form seven days a week, 365 days a year. At the Player 1 Academy, we are resurrecting black History so that our youth will know who they are, and where they came from. They are also constantly made aware of the massive influence black people have had on the world.

We also prioritize teaching black culture, including music, literature, food, and fashion. By exploring the diversity of black experiences, our students gain a deeper appreciation for their own identities and the broader global community.

We provide a safe and welcoming space where black students can fully embrace and celebrate their identity and heritage. We believe that by educating our youth on the rich history and contributions of black people, we can empower them to be leaders and change-makers in their communities.

Through interactive and dynamic lessons, our students learn about the unsung heroes of black History, from inventors and entrepreneurs to activists and artists. Our curriculum goes beyond the typical textbooks and covers topics like African civilizations, the transatlantic slave trade, the civil rights movement, and the contributions of black Americans in various fields.
